I wonder if anyone has ever went shopping for a new car and told the car dealer “ I don't need seat belts or airbags”. I feel that is equivalent in paintball terms to buying all your own gear and not having any type of barrel blocking device. I mean we are only talking about you and your friends safety. A barrel blocking device (aka barrel sock, barrel bag) are not expensive, they only cost about $5.00. They are very handy and as any paintball player knows they get used daily. I mean I have shoot a few rounds into my barrel bag in the past, but you know what they is a lot better and cheaper than into my friends eye socket. Sounds like a wise investment, they are cheap, all parks require them and it is just good safety. Barrel Blocking Device a must have!
